CULINARY: Dragon Flames

This is the first post in 2015 and I think it’s not to late to say: Happy New Year! May 2015 better from 2014.

So, are you a fan of Chinese Food or craving for delicious dim sum? I suggested you come to Dragon Flames. Located in Kemang, one of hang out area in Jakarta, Dragon Flames serves Chinese Food and they open 19 hours everyday. Spacious and the ambience and decoration can make you feel like in China.

What I ate here?
• Dim Sum (Steamed: Xia Long Bao, Kaki Ayam, Egg Salted Bakpao, Chicken and Vegetable Jyozao, Hakau, and Chicken Shiu May. Fried: Fried Jyozao and Fried Mantau)

I love almost of its dim sum. Delicious. But my favourite is Egg Salted Bakpao, I never like egg but this bakpao stole my heart since the first bite. The bun was soft and fluffy. The egg yolk was melted and sweet. There is no taste of egg left. Very yummy.

• Suki
Dragon Flames has two suki’s sauces: chicken broth and tom yum. But for me, tom yum was better. Little bit sour but it fresh. You can put vegetables, meatball, tofu, squid, chicken fillet, and there are many more.

• Roasted Peking Duck
Huge portion and tasty. The duck was roasted well. Tender, juicy, and chewy. I love it.

I also tried several beverage and all of them is favourite beverage
• Dragon Fly
Consisted of dragon fruit and orange sunkist. I didn’t feel dragon fruit’s taste because orange sunkist was dominated.

• Green Garden
Consisted of organic caesim, pineapple, and lemon. The presentation was so tempting. So fresh and this is my favourite. I bet you can find caesim’s taste. Delicious.

• Vanilla Popping Bubble
Consisted of fresh milk, vanilla ice cream, popping boba, and passion fruit. It like an ordinary vanilla milkshake with popping bobba.

• Marquisa Squash

Consisted of marquisa syrup, sprite, strawberry fruit, and marquisa fruit. Strong sprite’s taste. If you don’t like soda I didn’t recommend this beverage for you.

•Terong Belanda Juice
I often drink terong belanda syrup because everytime my dad or another from my family goes to Medan, he or she always bring terong belanda syrup. But, it was my first time to drink terong belanda juice. Somewhat similar but it more delicious from the syrup. I can’t describe it haha.

 

That’s all for the mouthwatering post. Nice ambience, delicious food, affordable price, and great service make me will revisit. Oh and the good news are it has promo, every day from 9 pm to 6 am you only have to pay 10 K- 15 K for its delicious dim sum and 5 K- 15 K for suki. Suitable for gathering, family dinner, reuni, or lunch or dinner with friends. FYI, it close every 3-6 PM so don’t come here at that time.
